All of our wine is produced for us, exclusively from our own grapes, by Oxney Organic Vineyard. As the largest organic vineyard in the UK and with a number of award winning wines of their own, they bring their expertise to producing our own wine. Ben Smith, their winemaker, trained at Plumpton college in Sussex and then honed his skills in wineries in Australia and New Zealand before returning to the UK.

He comments ‘As part of the Organic philosophy we practice low intervention winemaking, reducing fining agents & additions, including low rates of Sulphur Dioxide. If the grapes are healthy, picked at the optimum maturity & pressed carefully we see our role as then guiding the wine to bottle, rather than trying to manipulate it. This results in wines that express the vineyard they were grown in & the people that produce them.’
